Even the most cautious and attentive computer users are subjected to strange errors and other annoyances. These errors will almost inevitably rear their ugly heads after some serious computer usage. You may be asking yourself "What causes these problems, and can I prevent them?" Well the answer, in short, is yes you can.
These errors do not show up by accident..Registry errors are almost always to blame. These errors are sneaky and will often accumulate over time. What is the registry you ask?
A windows registry scan is called for if you encounter any of these problems:
- You computer is sluggish - it may take forever to boot up, or it may just get hung up while performing simple tasks.
- You get startup errors - errors saying "missing .dll" or "file not found" are common symptoms of registry related problems.
- Blue Screens 0f Death - if you receive a blue "STOP error" screen, you more than likely have a severe registry problem.
- Some programs will not open - if some or all of your application refuse to start and produce errors, the registry is often to blame.
Registry scanners take the trouble and frustration out of registry repair. These scanners scour the entire registries in order to find old and outdated information. The antiquated information is often the remnance of uninstalled software, old documents, and other items which are no longer neccessary. These items are no longer needed and will often be the cause of various computer problems.
